Pitch us

If you'd like to write for The Oldham Owl, we'd love to hear from you. You can find more information about us elsewhere on the site (if you want to write for us, you'll find it). We always respond to people seeking commissions unlike, for instance, 99% of other news publications.

Your pitch should include a working title and a brief summary of what you want to write (news, feature, interview, analysis). You can include a CV if you like, but that matters to us a lot less than your idea(s) and how you think.

Complaints

If you object to something we have written on the grounds of truth and/or proportionality, in the first instance you should write to complaints@oldham-owl.co.uk.

We are an IPSO regulated publication, and you can find our complaints policy here.

We strive to ensure that our work is rigorously checked, but understand perfectly well that people (including us) make mistakes. We will issue timely corrections and clarifications when we have got things wrong, and give equal if not more prominence to them.
